Paul Jake Castillo to Kaye Abad: ‘I promise that you will have a happy family’

Kaye Abad is still on cloud nine after her boyfriend Paul Jake Castillo proposed to her on her birthday last May 17. Kaye shared on Magandang Buhay yesterday, May 30 that it still feels surreal for she didn’t expect Paul Jake to propose.

“Napag-uusapan naman [magpakasal] pero hindi ko siya tine-take na seryoso kasi siya yung tao na pag tinatanong na siya ng friends niya he would avoid talaga the topic, iibahin niya talaga so sabi ko baka di pa siya ready,” Kaye said.

“Na-shock talaga ako, akala ko mga dalawang taon pa,” she added.

Kaye’s fiancé Paul Jake surprised her on the set of the morning show and shared more details about their wedding. According to the Cebuano actor, he’s letting Kaye be more hands on in the wedding planning.

“'Yung family namin kasi believes in feng shui. We are trying to look for right date na papayag 'yung feng shui," he said.

Kaye also said that the motif of their wedding would be in dark colors because she doesn’t like pastel colors. She also opted to have a church wedding.

“Simple lang ayoko ng sobrang puro flowers gusto ko may candles and lights. Kahit crepe paper nalang yung gagawing flowers okay na ‘yun tipid,” Kaye shared.

Before their interview ended, Paul Jake swore to Kaye, “I promise that you will have a happy family.”
